SYNOPSIS:
The Frog is a story about silence. Silence in communication between two brothers, silence between friends, silence between family members and it happens on the Silent night.
DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS:
I was drawn to this play by its clarity and universality of its subject. Questions raised aren’t answered because they cannot be, because those are the questions man asks himself for as long as one lives. There are not many places where the director can hide directing this play as a film. It offers only few characters and one small barbershop as a setting. There are no big events, no chase or sex or action sequences of any kind. The director must create powerful characters and stick with them, keep them interesting and alive in front of the audience. Ultimate honesty and clarity are directorial tasks here and that is why I want to film this story.
